| Presentation Of The Results Of A New Method Of Polymerization |

 |
A certain number of developments haved marked composite polymerization lamps presented to professionals in the last three years. At the turn of the new century, and after halogen lamps, laser and ultrasound, new technologies radically transform this practice by using one of latest developments in terms of research. We have drawn up a table of avantages and disadvantages of halogen lamps. This proposition is base on the original composite stratification method developed by B. Pelissier and E. Castany. We haved made normalised cavities of 2 mm, 3 mm and 4 mm in thickness and used 6 different composites. Vickers and Knoop hardness tests were carried out on the samples every 500 microns on the depht and width of the central sections. An analysis of static distribution of hardness is proposed in order to know the true efficiency of this new technology. This method permits us to establish a precise classification of the efficiency of the lamps and also to propose a strict clinical protocol for optimisation.
